Cinecaster Pro
Closed test · Android

I need 12 testers for 14 days.

Cinecaster Pro is video calling you can actually record — start a call, send a link, hit record, and the video saves straight to your device. It's finished. It just can't go public until Google sees 12 people run it for two weeks.

Scan this with your Android phone. You have to finish these steps on the phone signed into the Google account you use for the Play Store — otherwise Play won't recognise you as a tester.

What you get

  • Every Pro feature free, permanently, for testers who stay the full 14 days.
  • I'll test your app back — same day, real written feedback, not a "nice app" drive-by.

What I'm asking

  • Keep it installed 14 days straight. Uninstalling resets the counter to zero.
  • Open it a few times. Google measures actual use, not just installs.
  • One message telling me what broke or annoyed you.
Three steps, about two minutes
1

Tell me your Play Store email

The Google account your phone's Play Store is signed into. It's how I confirm you actually made it through, and how I know who to send Pro access to. Nothing else, no list, no marketing.

2

Join the tester group

Google only lets group members into the test. Do this one first — if you skip ahead to the Play link, it'll tell you the test doesn't exist and you'll assume it's broken. It isn't; you're just not in the group yet.

Open the group →
3

Opt in, then install

This page turns your account into a tester. Tap Become a tester, then use the download link on that same page — it takes you to Cinecaster Pro in the Play Store.

Opt in on Google Play →
4

Install it and open it once

Last thing. Opening it once tells Google the install is real. After that, just leave it on your phone.

Open in Play Store →

That's it — thank you.

Leave it installed until the 14 days are up.

If you have an app that needs testers, reply where you found this and I'll join yours today.

If something goes wrong
Play says "the test isn't available" or the item isn't found

Nearly always one of two things. Either group membership hasn't propagated yet — give it a couple of minutes and reload — or your browser is signed into a different Google account than your phone's Play Store. Check the account avatar at the top right of the Play page and switch it to the one your phone uses.

I joined the group but Play still doesn't know me

Open the Play Store app, go to your profile → Settings → General → Account and device preferences, and confirm the account listed there matches the one that joined the group. Multiple Google accounts on one phone is the usual culprit.

Does uninstalling early actually matter?

Yes, and this is the part most people don't realise. Google counts 14 continuous days of the app being installed. If you remove it on day 9, that tester stops counting entirely — it doesn't resume where it left off. If you need to drop out, just tell me so I can replace you instead of finding out at the end.

What does the app do with my data?

Recordings are saved to your own device. Your email is used to confirm you're on the tester list and nothing else. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
